Mirrabooka Detectives are eager to speak to the Good Samaritan who stopped to help a young woman who was the victim of a vicious attack by a group of six females, on Cartwright Road, in Balga.

Around 5.30pm on Saturday the 25th of February 2012, the woman came to the aid of the 21 year old victim who’d been taunted by a group of female thugs that forcibly removed her handbag.  In a savage attack, one member of the group, yanked the victim by the hair causing her to fall to the ground where she continued assaulting the victim by brutally punching in the head.

The victim’s bag and phone were thrown on the ground before the group walked off in the direction of the Fieldgate Shopping Centre.  When the victim gathered her property she discovered her wallet was missing.

Detectives would like to talk to the driver of a white sedan travelling in a westerly direction along Cartwright Road who stopped her vehicle to talk to the young woman immediately following the offence.

The witness is described as being Caucasian, aged in her mid 20’s or 30’s, long dark hair with a toddler occupying the rear seat of her vehicle.

If you know the identity of the female driver or were in the vicinity of Cartwright Road and have information about this offence, report online or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, where all calls are strictly confidential, and rewards are offered. Please quote Reference Number 5926.
