A 28 year old man was left traumatised after being held up at knife point whilst walking through a vacant block in Gosnells recently.

At around 9pm on Tuesday the 5th of June, 2012, the male had just got off the train and was walking along Fremantle Road in Gosnells. As the male cut across a vacant block towards the local tavern he heard noises from behind him. Suddenly, he felt an arm come across his left shoulder and a knife press against his throat. A male voice demanded money so the man reached into his pocket to get his wallet. He handed over his wallet and the man threatened him not to turn around until he had gone. Waiting for a short time the male turned around when he thought it was safe and observed two males running in an easterly direction towards Fremantle Road.

One of the male was wearing a black hooded jumper and a pair of skinny jeans. The other male was wearing a red and tan hooded jumper and black baggy sweat pants.

The knife used was about 15 cm long and appeared to be homemade with black and grey gaffer tape wrapped around the handle.
