Police are on the hunt for a group of young thugs who threatened two unsuspecting males with garden tools as they waited for a taxi in Beaconsfield.
Whilst two males waited for a taxi on Lefroy Road at around 1.00am on Monday the 21st of January 2013, a small dark hatchback sedan with five juveniles inside drove up and down the street before pulling up alongside them. Four of the occupants got out, two males and two females, and approached the waiting males. All four were armed, one with a hammer, one a metal pipe, one a garden saw and the other with a bottle of shampoo.
After dousing the two males in shampoo the four juveniles threatened violence and demanded the two males hand over their personal belongings. A short struggle ensued before the group made away with a blue back pack which contained various personal items including an iPod, mobile phone and a pair of Von Zipper sunglasses.
The group were last seen leaving the area in the waiting vehicle, heading east along Lefroy Road.
The vehicle driven by the group had a noticeable dent on the front left side and faded dark blue paint. It also had some dark plastic covering one of the rear windows. Police are hoping that these distinct features may be able to assist in identify the offenders.

- Approximately 12 years of age
- 135 – 145cm
- Short brown hair
The second male is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Approximately 11 years of age
- About 140cm
- Skinny build
- Armed with a saw
The first female is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Approximately 155cm
- Medium build
- Carrying a Garnier bottle of shampoo
The second female is described as:
- Dark skinned
- 160 – 170cm
- Long brown hair
- Carrying a metal pole
The third female (driver) is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Approximately 16 years of age
