Detectives need your help to identify a male and female who threatened a Beckenham resident with a knife, leaving her with a laceration to her neck.
At around 9.30pm on Friday the 2nd of August 2013, the victim was sitting on the front porch of her Highbury Crescent home when she observed a male and female enter her property. The victim approached the two who stated that they were looking to ‘gate crash’ her party. Attempting to usher the two from her property and advise them that there was no party, the male grabbed the victim in a headlock and held a knife to the side of her neck whilst the female yelled abuse and punched her to the face. After a short struggle the victim managed to break free at which point the offenders ran off towards Nicholson Road.
As a result of the incident the female victim received a superficial laceration to the right side of her neck.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information regarding the incident or the persons involved.
The male is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Slim build
- Approximately 175cm
- Wearing a white beanie and black top
The female is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Slim build
- Hair tied back
- Approximately 168cm
- Wearing a white jacket and pants
