A crowd controller was badly injured after being pushed through a glass door by an unruly patron.

At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday the 23rd of August 2014, a male became involved in a physical altercation with a crowd controller at The Village Inn Tavern in Subiaco.

During this altercation the male forcefully pushed the crowd controller into a glass door of a nearby premise causing the glass to smash and the crowd controller to suffer lacerations to his wrist and abdomen. The Duty Manager of the tavern was also injured.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.  

The male is described as:

  • Approx. 35 – 45 years
  • Fair complexion
  • Short dark hair with receding hair line
  • 175 – 180cm tall
  • Medium build
  • Wearing blue or black long pants, dark coloured t-shirt, black jacket and black shoes.
