At about 2:25pm on Tuesday 18 August 2015, a 16 year old boy was at the bus shelter situated on Wanneroo Road (southbound) before the intersection of Marangaroo Drive, Marangaroo.
A woman approached the victim from behind and demanded the victim’s mobile phone. The woman threatened that she would pull a knife out if he didn’t give her the phone.
The woman punched the victim twice in the face. The victim pushed her away causing her to stumble backwards and the victim ran off.
The victim sustained a cut to the inside of the left side of his upper lip and swelling.
The woman is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Approximately 155cm tall
- Slim build
- 20 – 30 years of age
- Had no hair on her head
- Wearing material over her head and a jumper around her waist
