A male received a further blow after his key card stolen during a home burglary was used by a teenager to withdraw cash.

Between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Monday the 19th of December, 2012, the man’s home in Capstone Way, Marangaroo, was broken into. The unknown offender gained entry to the house by simply walking through the front door. Once inside the offender walked into a bedroom and stole a wallet containing a credit card.

Between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Monday the 19th of December, 2012, the man’s home in Capstone Way, Marangaroo, was broken into. The unknown offender gained entry to the house by simply walking through the front door. Once inside the offender walked into a bedroom and stole a wallet containing a credit card.

The following day a teenager was caught on CCTV using the card to withdraw cash several times from the same ATM in Girrawheen.

Police have released CCTV images of a teenager who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

The teenager is described as:

  • Unknown gender
  • Aged late teens
  • Brown eyes
  • Dark skinned
  • Broad nose
  • Wearing a black hooded jacket.
