The awareness of a resident foiled a burglary in Balcatta.
On Saturday the 14th of June 2014, at approximately 4.30pm, a male smashed a rear glass door of a house on D’Alonzo Place. The victim was in the front yard, heard the smash and went to investigate, seeing the male jumping over the rear fence. Fortunately, the male ran off before he could gain entry and steal anything.
Police have released a photograph of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The male is described as:
- Tanned skin
- Medium build
- Dark short hair and a moustache
- Wearing chequered shirt, blue jeans, grey baseball cap and black runners.
- Carrying a dark coloured satchel over shoulder.
