Just before 5am on Thursday 7 January 2016, the victim left his home address in Gooseberry Hill.  As he was driving away from his premises, he saw his quad bike being pushed by a man.  Next to the man was a dark coloured sedan being driven by another person.  As soon as the victim saw the man, he ran to the dark coloured vehicle and they drove off along John Farrant Drive.

The victim took his quad bike back to his home address where he found that his Lapierre brand of mountain bike was also stolen.  The bike is worth around $8,000.  Both items were chained to a pole inside a shed.

Police have released an image of the type of mountain bike that was stolen.

The man is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Solid build
  • 170-175cm tall
  • Dark coloured hair.

The mountain bike is described as:

  • Brand: Lapierre
  • Model: XR729EI
  • Colour: Red and blue
