The sudden rise in central metropolitan burglaries over recent months has detectives eager to identify the culprits caught on CCTV footage during a recent burglary on a Claremont Chemist.   
 
Around 2.25am on Monday the 18th of July, 2011, thieves forced their way into Michaels Health Care Chemist on the Stirling Highway in Claremont by using a crowbar to force open the front sliding doors.
 
To avoid detection the intruders cut the power lines silencing the audible alarm system. They searched the storage room and main service area before removing a quantity of pseudoephedrine based medication and exiting the building. 
 
Detectives would like to talk to the two males pictured in the hope they may be able to assist with inquiries. 
 
The first male is described as:
  • Fair complexion
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a blue jacket, grey tracksuit pants, white shoes, gloves and a balaclava. 
The second male is described as:
  • Fair complexion
  • Medium build
  • Wearing dark clothing, white shoes, a green beanie and black, white and green riding gloves.
