Police need your help to locate a stolen quad bike and ute after an offender appears to have gone on a crime spree throughout Lancelin recently.
At some time between 7.00pm on Monday the 4th of June and 7.00am on Tuesday the 5th of June, 2012, an unknown offender attended a business premises on Walker Avenue, Lancelin, where they have stolen a Holden Rodeo ute. The ute was white in colour and the registration was 1BLM061. It appears the offender/s used the ute to break into an adjacent business premises and steal a quad bike by cutting a secure chain.
The same offender/s are believed to also be responsible for breaking into a nearby service station and stealing a quantity of cigarettes as all three business premises are within 300 meters of each other.
Police believe the quad bike has already been on-sold for cash at far below its real value.
The stolen bike is described as:
- Suzuki LT-F250K8 quad bike
- Valued at $4700
- VIN number JSAAJ51A782103271
- Engine number J434-169005
