Joondalup Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a robbery that occurred at a music festival in Joondalup on Sunday 25 September 2016.
About 7.15pm a 19 year old man and an 18 year old woman were leaving the festival when they were approached by a man and two women on the grassed area between a carpark and Joondalup Drive.
The group demanded money from the victims however they refused. The man then started punching the male victim in the stomach while the two women punched the female victim, causing her to fall unconscious. Whilst she was on the ground unconscious the two women stole several personal belongings from her.
The female victim required medical treatment for injuries sustained to her ribs and face.
The man is described as being fair skinned, 16-20 years old, approximately 175cm tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black cap and black t-shirt.
The first woman is described as being fair skinned, 16-20 years old, approximately 160cm tall with a medium build and brown hair.
There is no description of the second woman.
