An innocent bystander sustained an injury at a Fremantle nightclub that has rendered him incapable of working for some time, leaving detectives eager to locate the culprit. 

Around 12.30 am on Friday the 30th of December 2012, a fight broke out on the upper level of the High Street nightclub, triggering security personnel to intervene and escort the parties involved from the premises. 

As one of the males was walked through the nightclub towards the exit, without provocation, he punched the victim in the face causing him to fall to the ground.

As a result of the assault the victim suffered a concussion and a dislocated knee requiring surgery and leaving him unable to work for several months. 

Police would like to talk to the male pictured in the hope he can assist with inquiries into the assault.  

The male is described about:

  • Dark complexion
  • Solid, muscular build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a dark fitted shirt, dark pants and a white belt.
