At approximately 7.45pm on Wednesday 24 August 2016, the victim was riding his blue Yamaha YZ250 motor cycle near Centenary Park close to the intersection of Hardey Road and Elmsfield Street, Belmont.
Something hit the victim on the shoulder from behind and he lost control of his motor cycle, resulting in his left leg colliding with a pole and falling from the motorcycle.
Two men approached him, taking his white ‘Troy Lee’ motorbike helmet from his head. They then picked up the motor cycle and walked off pushing it towards Daly Street.
