On Monday 3 October 2016, two registration plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway in Singleton. These plates were put on a vehicle that had been stolen from Erskine.
Later that day at approximately 3.45pm, the vehicle filled up with petrol at a service station on Great Eastern Highway in Mundaring. A woman who was sitting in the front passenger seat, entered the store, looked at some food items, then returned to the vehicle which drove away without paying for the fuel.
The vehicle was located by police in Yangebup in the afternoon of Thursday 6 October.
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The woman is described as:
- Light skinned
- 20-25 years of age
- Dark hair tied up in a bun
- Thin/medium build
- Wearing a black ‘Nike’ jumper, blue jeans and black thongs.
