Two males brazenly walked out of a bottle shop in Greenwood without paying for a carton of beer.
At around 8.15pm on Wednesday the 1st of June, 2011, the two males entered the Greenwood Hotel Bottle shop on Warwick Road, Greenwood. Immediately the males headed for the back of the store to the fridge area before asking a staff member for assistance. One of the males selected a carton of beer and walked to the checkout area as though he was going to pay for the beer however ran out the store instead. The carton of beer was valued at $45.
Police have released CCTV footage of two males who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The first male is described as:
- 24 – 27 years
- 190cm
- Medium build
- Short brown hair
- Wearing a dark jumper and dark trousers.
The second male is described as:
- 23 – 27 years
- 190cm
- Short brown hair
- Wearing a blue windcheater with white long sleeves and light coloured trousers.
