At approximately 3pm on Wednesday 20 January 2016, a 15 year old boy was walking from the Bayswater train station when he noticed two men following him as he walked along an alleyway between Railway Parade and Winifred Road. One of the men ran past the boy blocking him from exiting the alleyway, the other man approached him from behind and subsequently took a mobile phone and a wallet out of his pockets.
Both men then walked towards Winifred Road.
Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as:
- Tan skinned
- 18 – 25 years of age
- Medium build
- Wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt and jeans. Large gold coloured chain around his neck.
The second man is described as:
- Dark skinned
- 18-25 years of age
- Medium build
- Wearing a black baseball cap with white motif, white windcheater and black shorts. Carrying a dark coloured back pack.
