At about 4:40pm on Friday 11 September 2015, a man entered a newsagency situated at the Murray Street entrance to the Equus Arcade in Perth.
The man was in possession of a knife and he demanded the shop attendant open the till. The till was opened by the employee and cash was taken by the man, placing it into a grey plastic bag before leaving the store.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 25 – 30 years of age
- Slim build
- Approximately 162cm tall
- Wearing a long sleeve fluorescent yellow and black collared shirt, dark coloured pants and a bucket hat.
A brown piece of cardboard was used by the man to cover his mouth and nose while committing the offence.
