On Tuesday 2 August 2016, between 3am and 3.30am a vehicle was set alight.  The vehicle was an unattended Toyota Land Cruiser utility, grey in colour, parked beside the southbound lane of Albany Highway, approximately 600 metres south-east of Bullied Road, Williams.  This is approximately 7km north of the Williams town site.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services responded to the incident and extinguished the fire. The vehicle sustained extensive fire damage, especially to the cabin and engine bay.

Police have released an image of the damaged vehicle.
