Arsonists set fire to a house, however quick thinking neighbours extinguish the flames.
At about 8:40pm on the 27th of October 2013, two male offenders entered a property on Moran Court Beaconsfield via the front yard. They walked to the rear of the property and smashed a rear window setting fire to property inside.
Several neighbours grabbed garden hoses and were able to put the fire out before the fire brigade arrived. Approximately $15,000 worth of damage was caused to the property.
Police have released a CCTV image of two males who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first male is described as:
- Medium build
- Wearing a light coloured baseball cap, light coloured jacket, with a dark coloured top underneath and long pants.
The second male is described as:
- Medium build
- Wearing a light coloured jacket, baseball cap and long pants.
