Rockingham Detectives are investigating a criminal damage by fire that occurred in Port Kennedy on Saturday 16 April 2016. At about 8.15pm, a man approached a Ford utility which was parked near Warnbro Sound Avenue in Port Kennedy. The man smashed both drivers and passenger’s windows, before starting a small fire inside the vehicle. The man ran away from the vehicle and was seen to get into a blue vehicle to leave the scene. Staff from a nearby business were able to put the fire out and call Police. Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries. The man is described as:

  • 30 -40 years of age
  • 160 to 170 centimetres tall
  • Thin build
  • Gaunt face with specks of grey through the beard
  • Wearing a jacket with an emblem on the back and long pants.
