At approximately 7.00am on Sunday 12 July 2015 a business was targeted by an arsonist.
A business premise on Railway Parade, Bassendean, had a hole cut in the cyclone fence to the property where entry was gained. The yard is the property of a transport company which houses prime movers and trailers.
A man walked up to several prime movers and trailers and used an accelerant to douse over the vehicles before setting them alight. The offender then left the scene via the same point of entry. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately $400,000.
Police have released a photo of one of the damaged prime movers.
