About 11:40pm on Tuesday 14 July 2015, a restaurant on Rokeby Road Subiaco near Roberts Road was targeted by an arsonist.
The restaurant was closed when a man approached the rear of the restaurant and after several attempts ignited several rubber bar mats hanging over the gate.
The resulting fire caused an estimated $40,000 damage to the building.
The incident was captured on CCTV and police are seeking public assistance to identify the man.
The man is described as:
- Light skinned
- Medium build
- Clean shaven
- Short hair
- Wearing a hooded jumper, jeans and white shoes.
