Canning Vale Police are keen to identify a male who spat on a bus driver in Cannington.
At about 4.30pm on Thursday the 20th of November 2014, a male got on bus 507 on Albany Highway opposite Hungry Jacks and presented the driver a scrunched up ticket as proof of his fare. The driver asked the male to straighten out the ticket, at which the male became aggressive and abusive towards the driver. The abuse then escalated when the male spat into the face the of the bus driver and threatened to fight him before departing the bus.
Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The male is described as:
- Tanned skinned
- Early 20’s
- Average height
- Black hair
- Wearing a dark blue/high vis yellow long sleeve shirt and long dark blue pants.
