At approximately 4.15pm on the afternoon of Saturday, 10 October 2015, an unprovoked assault occurred on the roadway at the Intersection of Grand Boulevard & Reid Promenade in Joondalup.
A man assaulted the victim as he was walking past, punching him several times to the head and face. The man was with two other men who yelled abuse towards the victim as he was being punched. The assault stopped when a vehicle driving along stopped next to the man. All three men left the area heading down Reid Promenade.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 35-45 years of age
- Solid build
- Shaved head
- Wearing a black short sleeved collared shirt, blue jeans and dark coloured shoes.
