A woman was slashed to the arm during an unprovoked attack in South Lake.

At about 6.00am on Wednesday the 21st of January 2015, the victim was walking her dog near the oval in Lakelands Reserve on Broadwater Gardens when she was confronted by a male. He reached towards her and slashed her across the arm with an unknown weapon. The male then fled from the area towards Berrigan Drive.

Police have released a composite image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.   

The male is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • 20-30 years old
  • Dark hair
  • Slim build
  • Dark eyes
  • Approximately 175cms tall
  • Wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark blue track pants with the right pocket pulled out and white sneakers.
