A female shopping in Mirrabooka became aggressive when questioned by staff.

At about 4.00pm on Wednesday 4th March 2015, she was observed by staff placing a pair of pants into a pram she was pushing while shopping in a clothing store in the Mirrabooka Square Shopping Centre. She then left the store making no attempt to pay for the clothing.

A staff member and security guard followed the female out to the car park where they requested that she return the pants. The female denied stealing the pants and suddenly attacked the staff member, punching her to the face and pulling her hair which resulted in hem falling to the ground. The victim was able to break free and the female left the area.

Police have released a CCTV image of a female who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The female is described as:

  • Fair skinned
  • 18-22 years old
  • Solid build
  • Long brown hair
  • Wearing a black polo shirt with a “Holden” emblem on the front
  • Pushing a pram with a small child in it.
