Two men left an establishment in Northbridge just after midnight on Wednesday 19 August 2015. They attempted to get into a taxi on Lake Street when they were approached by some people from a group of eight men and women. Three of the men violently attacked the two men, causing serious injuries.
A bystander assisted the victims into a taxi which took them straight to hospital for immediate treatment.
Police have released CCTV images of three men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as:
- Light skinned
- Clean shaven
- Short dark hair
- Mid to late 20’s
- Wearing a black shirt
The second man is described as:
- Light skinned
- Reddish/brown hair with a “top knot”
- 20-25 years of age
- Jawline beard and a moustache
- Wearing a Grey shirt carrying grey jumper
- Spoke with a possible French accent.
The third man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 20-25 years of age
- Medium build
- Short dark hair
- Beard
