Police are seeking witnesses to an assault on a 49 year old man in Baldivis on 6 February 2015.

Between 9.00 and 9.30am, the victim was walking his dog in the vicinity of Norwood Avenue in Baldivis.

He observed a red Commodore doing burnouts nearby, and pretended to take photographs with his phone.  The two occupants of the vehicle then verbally abused him.

The vehicle left the area but a short time later the victim was approached by two men who demanded his phone.  They then assaulted him, causing him to fall to the ground. The two men then left the vicinity in a dark coloured Holden Barina parked nearby.

The victim was conveyed to Rockingham Hospital for medical treatment.
