At approximately 2.25am on Thursday 10 September 2015, a 24 year old man was on South Terrace in Fremantle with his brother and a couple of friends. He was speaking to some painters painting the median strip purple for the AFL Finals when a person punched the man to the jaw from behind, knocking him to the ground.
As a result of the assault, the man received a broken jaw.
Police have released CCTV images of three men and a woman who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as:
- Tan skinned
- Medium build
- Wearing a light coloured hooded jacket and blue jeans.
The second man is described as:
- Tan skinned
- Medium build
- Wearing a grey jacket, dark pants and a black baseball cap worn backwards.
The third man is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Solid build
- Wearing a white top with black writing on front and back and black pants.
The woman is described as:
- Light skinned
- Medium build
- Long brown hair
- Wearing a black top, black and white shorts and high heeled black shoes.
