An employee was assaulted as a group of three tried to leave a Forrestdale home improvement store without paying for goods.

At around 2.10pm on Saturday the 30th of November 2013, three unidentified people were in the Masters Home Improvement store on Ranford Road. Whilst inside, the group selected a number of valuable items and placed them into a trolley. With a loaded trolley the three headed straight for the exit. An alert employee interrupted the three as they passed the checkout area. As the employee approached them one of the three pushed the trolley into her causing her to fall to the ground. All three then fled the store empty handed.

Police have released CCTV images of three persons who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.  

The first male is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Early 20’s
  • Slim build
  • Black moustache
  • Wearing a red t-shirt.

The female is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Mid 30’s
  • Solid build
  • Long black hair
  • Wearing black pants and a black t-shirt with a white motif on the front.

The second male is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Mid 20’s
  • Solid build
  • Black moustache
  • Wearing a blue t-shirt, dark shorts and a baseball cap.
