A firearm was produced by a male in a terrifying ordeal for a Northam family.

At about 12.30am on Wednesday 2 July 2014, two males attended a residential address in Northam where they attempted to speak with the occupants at the address. After a short conversation, one of the males produced a firearm and pointed it at the front door in order to threaten the occupants.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.   

The male is described as:

  • Between 30 and 40 years of age
  • Fair skinned
  • Full facial beard
  • Large tattoo on the left forearm and smaller tattoo on the right forearm. 
  • Wearing a black beanie, dark coloured T-shirt with a large ship logo on the front and dark coloured pants
