At approximately 3pm on Sunday 31 July 2016, a man was driving his vehicle along Mends Street South Perth and approached the traffic lights at Mill Point Road.
A group of five men approached the vehicle and tried to open the doors to the vehicle, banging on the windows and kicking the doors causing damage. A door handle was wrenched off the vehicle by one of the men.
As the lights turned green, the man drove his vehicle away and attended a police station to report the incident.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 20-25 years of age
- Short brown hair
- Medium build
- Wearing a dark coloured jacket with a blue shirt underneath and long dark pants.
