At approximately 3pm on Saturday 22 October 2016, a man had just finished shopping in Alexander Heights and drove his vehicle into Illawarra Crescent, then turned right onto Alexander Drive and saw a white Holden Commodore sedan tail gating him. The man was driving in the left lane with the vehicle behind him changed into the right lane.

As the vehicle went to pass him, the man saw that the driver was a woman and there were two male passengers, one in the front passenger seat and one seated directly behind him.  The front seat passenger pulled a finger sign at the man and the vehicle slowed down so it was now behind the man’s vehicle again.

The man continued along Alexander Drive and heard objects being thrown at his vehicle, however he was unable to see what was being thrown.

The Holden Commodore parked in front of the man’s vehicle near the round-about on Hepburn Avenue and suddenly stopped in front of his car.  Both passengers got out of the car and one of the men pulled on the driver’s side window and kneed the driver’s side door causing damage.  They both got back into the car and drove away.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
