A senseless graffiti vandal left the Public Transport Authority with a large clean up bill after he scrawled tags across the seats and windows of a bus not long after it departed from a Stirling Bus Station.

Just before 4.00pm on Tuesday the 19th of March 2013, a male boarded a bus at the Stirling Interchange on Cedric Street en route to Fremantle. Soon after the bus had departed the male pulled out a white marker pen and set to tagging the back of the seat in front of him and the side window.

Luckily for police CCTV managed to capture the male as he arrived at his destination, but not before causing damage to the value of $750.00.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The male is described as:

  • Fair skinned
  • 175 – 180cm
  • Short dark brown hair
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a white t-shirt, dark grey jeans and black running shoes with white outer edges.
  • Carrying a grey windcheater style top on his shoulders and a small blue plastic cooler bottle.
