Western Australian Detectives are searching for the true identity of the woman who   fraudulently duped a Balcatta couple out of $50,000.

Between October 2010 and January 2011, the female operating under the alias names of “Kathy MARKE” and “Kathy MITCHELL” fraudulently misrepresented herself to the victims to benefit from multiple payments made to her under the belief it they were being used to enhance their mobile fast food business.

Following the exchange of multiple cash payments, several promises made to the victims by the woman failed to come to fruition, including securing future business opportunities worth $15,000, the acquisition of an $18,000 generator and cash paid to the woman to secure Business Insurance and Australian Citizenship.

After several attempts to contact the woman by phone failed, a check of a previously supplied Mirrabooka address revealed that she had absconded leaving no trace of her future address.
