A gentleman received a further blow soon after discovering his laptop was stolen that his wallet has also been stolen and thieves had gone on a spending spree.

Sometime during 12noon and 1.00pm on Saturday the 17th of December, 2011, the gentleman’s laptop was stolen whilst unloading items from his unlocked car at an address in Wandi. It wasn’t until his bank contacted him to advise him of suspicious activity on his credit card that he realised his wallet must have been stolen at the same time.   

Later that same day between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, a female used the stolen credit card at a shopping centre in Success. Within a space of 1 hour she spent more than $2700 at various stores. At the time of the incident the female was in company with another female wearing a green coloured top.    

Police have released CCTV images of two females who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

The first female is described as:

  • Aged mid 20’s
  • Slim Build
  • Dark hair pulled up in a pony tail
  • Wearing a red dress
  • Carrying a blue bag.

The second female is described as:

  • 30-40 years
  • Medium to solid build
  • Dark hair
  • Wearing an aqua coloured top.
  • Carrying a shoulder handbag pushing a trolley.
