A young male who had his car broken into received a further blow when his stolen credit card was used to withdraw over $800 cash from ATM’s.

Between 6.00pm and 6.25pm on 8th December, 2011, unknown offender’s broke into the young males car which was parked in a car park on Perry Lakes Drive, Floreat. The offender smashed the front left window to gain entry to the car and stole a wallet containing a credit card.

The card was used a short time by a male who withdrew $550 cash from an ATM in Floreat. Having been successful the first time the male then withdrew a further $300 cash. Unfortunately the male may have found the pin number to the cards that was also stored in the wallet.

Police have released CCTV images of a male who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

The male is described as:

  • Aged 25-35 years
  • Dark complexion
  • Solid build
  • Wearing a black cap with “UFC” lettering in white on the front and a black t-shirt with white trimming on the sleeves and bottom of the top.
