At approximately 3.30pm on Wednesday 12 October 2016, a burglary occurred at a house near Jackson Road in Karawara. During the burglary, an amount of jewellery, electrical items and two handbags were stolen.
Inside one of the handbags was a credit card, which was subsequently used at a number of nearby stores within a short time of the burglary. Fortunately the cards were cancelled soon after the burglary was discovered, so no further purchases were made.
Police have released a CCTV image of two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as: 20 – 25 years of age, Tan skinned, thin build, facial hair, wearing a blue Adidas cap, T-shirt, dark ¾ shorts and runners.
The second man is described as: 45 – 55 years of age, long dark hair, grey goatee beard, wearing a brown jacket, dark shirt and long pants and black shoes.
