Multiple “over the phone” fraudulent transactions to purchase items from various stores across the metropolitan area, has police following a trail of evidence that may hold the key to the fraudsters identity. 

With the transactions netting close to $35,000.00, detectives are eager to speak to the male pictured on CCTV footage captured while collecting a $3500 generator fraudulently purchased around 10am on Monday the 5th of September 2011 from a Midland store by a female calling herself ‘Lisa’. 

With inquiries revealing that the credit card details had been stolen and fraudulently presented over the phone, police are following every lead that will help them connect with the true culprit. 

The male is described as: 

  • Fair complexion
  • 35 – 45 years old
  • Approximately 180cm
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black t-shirt.
