Between 6.30 and 7am on Saturday 31 December 2016, a man on a bicycle was seen smashing the passenger window of a vehicle on Champlin Way in Ferndale. The man rode off after removing a wallet from inside the vehicle.
A short time later, a credit card from inside the wallet was used to fraudulently purchase items from a convenience store in nearby Langford.
The man is described as:
- Dark skinned
- 20-25 years of age
- Approximately 170cm tall
- Moustache
- Thin build
- Wearing a baseball cap, long sleeve blue hooded top, dark long pants and dark Adidas runners.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
