A lady received a further blow after her car was broken into and her stolen credit card was used by a male later the same day to withdraw $1000 cash.

Sometime around 12.30pm on Thursday the 9th of June, 2011, an unknown person smashed the window of a RAV 4 sedan parked at the York District Hospital on Trews Road, York. The offender/s stole the lady’s purse containing cash and her credit cards. At around 2pm later that day, the lady’s credit card was fraudulently used by a male to withdraw $1000 from her account at an ATM machine in Mundaring.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist with inquiries.

The male is described as:

  • Dark complexion
  • Approximately 180cm  
  • Medium build
  • Goatee and moustache
  • Wearing a dark cap with a light motif, a long sleeved khaki coloured top with white sleeves and white motif on black, long khaki camouflage shorts, white socks and joggers.
