A young victim was indecently assaulted at a local Kiara park by a male parading in underwear and wearing tracksuit pants on his head.
Around 8.00pm on Wednesday the 22nd of June 2011, the young girl was dropped off at her boyfriend’s address on Bottlebrush Drive and was waiting at a nearby park for him to return home when the male approached her. The male made a lewd request before indecently assaulting her and behaving in an inappropriate sexual manner. Threats of phoning the police didn’t deter him with the male blocking the victims path and pushing her twice in the shoulder.
A triple 000 call on her mobile triggered the male to walk away, remaining in the park area a short distance away.
Detectives have released a composite image of the male in the hope that someone may be able to recognise him.
The male is described as:
- Brown complexion
- Aged in late teens
- Approximately 170cm
- Medium build
- Dark brown eyes
- Wearing dark blue track pants on his head, a yellow / green t-shirt with a pocket and blue underwear.
