UPDATE: 15/MAY/2014, an adult male has been charged.
A young boy shopping with his mum in Cannington was inappropriately touched by a passing male.
At about 3.30pm on Saturday the 22nd of February 2014, a 13 year old boy and his mother were shopping at the Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre on Albany Highway. As his mother was distracted looking in her handbag a male walked past the boy and ran his hand down the front of the boy’s body. The male then kept on walking and glanced back to look at the boy.
Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The male is described as:
- Fair skinned
- 30-50 years old
- Approximately 175cms tall
- Chubby build
- Clean shaven
- Wearing tracksuit pants, a grey jacket, a blue baseball cap and rectangular glasses.
