Belmont Police are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a robbery that occurred in Cannington on Tuesday 7 July 2016

 

About 3.45pm, a man and woman entered a hardware store on Albany Highway and selected tools to the value of $443.00. They then left the store, making no attempt to pay for the items.

Security guards stopped and spoke to the pair and they dropped the items on the ground. The man then produced a knife and threatened staff before departing.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The man is described as:

  • Fair skinned
  • Short brown hair
  • Medium build
  • Early 20s
  • Approximately 175cm tall
  • Wearing a black hooded jacket with a grey lining, a red t-shirt, grey/black Adidas tracksuit pants and black runners.

The woman is described as:

  • Fair skinned
  • Long straight light brown hair
  • Slim build
  • Early 20s
  • Green eyes
  • Mole on right side of chin
  • Approximately 170-175cms tall

Wearing a red/black flannelette jacket with a grey hood, a black hooded jacket with a pink lining, blue jeans and black thongs.
