At around 12.30 am on Saturday 27 February 2016, two men were walking through the Cultural Centre in Northbridge near the library.
A verbal altercation began between them and a separate group of men. A fight has starting and during the fight property was demanded from one of the men. Fearing for his safety, the man handed over a mobile phone and a wallet. The group was last seen running away towards Beaufort Street.
Police have released CCTV images of a two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as:
- Tan skinned
- 16-20 years of age
- Medium build
- Wearing a blue baseball cap backwards, a black, white and re ‘Chicago Bulls’ top and brown long pants.
The second man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 18-22 years of age
- Medium build
- Wearing a dark coloured baseball cap backwards, grey ‘Stussy’ top, dark coloured tracksuit pants and white runners.
