Joondalup Detectives are seeking two witnesses to a Robbery offence.  Four men have since been charged.

At approximately 3:00am on Saturday 20 August 2016 the victim walked up to the top level of Joondalup train station and into the garden area where he was using his mobile phone.

It will be alleged that the victim was approached by four men who snatched the victim’s mobile phone out of his hand. The victim grabbed his phone back from one of the men and attempted to run.  The victim was caught by the men who dragged him behind the wall of the train station, kicked and punched him and stole his phone and wallet.

The men fled on foot as the victim lay injured on the ground.  A short time later, two men approached the victim and came to the aid of him.  The men are described as light skinned, one was carrying a dark coloured sports type of bag on his shoulder and both were wearing dark clothes. These men left the scene before Police were able to speak with them.
