On Saturday 2 July 2016 at around 1.00am a man left a licensed premises on Lake Street, Northbridge.
He was approached by a woman at the intersection of Lake Street and Aberdeen Street, Northbridge who struck up a conversation with him. The woman removed his wallet from his rear pocket. The man attempted to stop this and was then assaulted by a male accomplice who hit him from behind. The man and woman ran off through a car park and onto Francis Street.
The woman is described as:
- Dark skinned
- Medium build
- Approximately 170cm tall
- Wearing dark clothing.
The male is described as:
- Light skinned
- Medium build
- Approximately 170cm tall
- Wearing dark clothing.
At the time there were several people leaving the area in Taxis and walking around.
