At about 4:35pm on Sunday 22 January 2017, a female had attended a shop on Ranford Road in Southern River. The female returned to her vehicle, a black Chrysler sedan and sat in the driver’s seat, with the door still open.

A man approached the female and demanded she hand over the vehicle keys. The male was holding a large knife in his right hand pointing it towards the female’s chest.

The female handed the man her black handbag in fear and exited the vehicle. The man got into the driver’s seat and attempted to start the vehicle. The female noticed a vehicle parked in the alleyway facing her with another man in the driver’s seat.

The female ran into a shop to request assistance from staff. The male was unable to start the vehicle so got out and ran towards the waiting vehicle before departing the area along Ranford Road

The man armed with a knife is described as: Light skinned, 22-28 years of age, approximately 183cm tall.  He was wearing a black head covering.

The second man in the unknown vehicle is only described as being older than the first man and was wearing a black and white head covering.
