At approximately 2am on Monday 17 October 2016, the victim walked through a car park on Great Eastern Highway in Burswood.
A short time later, the victim was found, walking out of some bushes with facial injuries. The man was no longer in possession of his mobile phone or wallet.
Two men were seen in the area around the time of the assault.
Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
